Descriptions

Small and large companies must have stakeholders. And stakeholders are closely related to social responsibility or often referred to as Corporate Social Responsibility. Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is now a major issue by the expectations of the stakeholders. These stakeholders continually hold companies accountable not only for financial matters, but also for social, ethical, and environmental issues. But CSR does not only mean doing the right things that can shape the good reputation and trust of stakeholders; but related to something that can preserve the planet and its people in the future. In Indonesia, the problem of social business responsibility is an issue that has not been resolved properly. According to Law No. 40 of 2007, regarding Limited Liability Companies, it has been stated that social responsibility is part of the company’s duties, therefore the company must provide funds. This means that the cost component of social responsibility is no longer based on the scheme if the company has funds, but at the beginning the company has been required to include social responsibility funds. This concept justifies a budget at the top management level that does not necessarily get the endorsement. More than that, the company is required to submit a report. This training will provide an understanding of Stakeholder and Social Responsibility and optimize the company’s ability to achieve the company’s strategic goals.
