Descriptions

This course is designed for industrial electrical systems, installations, and equipment from a safety perspective. Topics covered include the hazardous location of equipment, ground fault circuit interrupters, single- and three-phase systems and electrical hazard recognition.

 

Objectives

After this training, participants are expected to:

1. Refresh a basic knowledge understanding of Electrical Design and Application
2. Learn the knowledge of Grounding System, Lightning Protection, Leakage Current Protection, Static Electricity, Electric Induction, and PUIL.
3. Identify electrical safety hazards and plan protective schemes and techniques to address each hazard\
4. Understand electrical safety issues related to hazardous substances and locations
