Descriptions

Mining exploration activities and supporting operations will harm the surrounding environment, the loss of some parts of vegetation, destroying some of the native ecosystems, reducing the biodiversity of native species, destroying wildlife habitats, increasing the rate of erosion, and degradation of watersheds. After completion of exploration activities, reclamation activities are needed to restore the former mining area to be an area that is suitable for re-functioning, even though the area will not be as it was before the exploration activities were carried out. Reclamation is an activity aimed at improving or managing the use of disturbed land as a result of mining business activities so that it can function and be effective according to its purpose. Post mining reclamation activities carried out by mining companies need to pay attention to government regulations and mining area factors, so that the reclamation can be useful for living creatures or communities around the mining area.
